We were the number one trending topic on Twitter in Dallas on Friday, October 7th.  What you may not know about this particular date is that it is the Friday of OU/Texas football weekend.  (Or if you are from Texas – they call it Texas/OU football) This is one of the greatest neutral site games in the country and two states flock to the Texas State Fair for the event.

The amazing part of this is that the PRSA Dallas UnSummit (#PRSAUnSummit16) took over Twitter for the morning!!

Talk about a BIG DEAL!! You are probably wondering what the PRSA Dallas Unsummit is and why it is such a big deal. The PRSA Dallas Unsummit presented three different groups of speakers only allowed 5 – 7 minutes (Ted-talk like) to give the Big Picture, to deconstruct PR or to encourage Personal Upgrade.

The people attending and speaking at the Unsummit are all Brand Ambassadors and hold executive level titles in the PR world. The event was held at the most instagrammed location in Dallas, The Granada Theater.  This spectacular venue was home for a couple hundred PR professionals for the day.

Awards were given, food and drink was served and networking happened!  I met some great men and women and Dave Fleming, Chief Inspiration Officer and Humorist did an excellent job emceeing the event.
